sunflower seed cake!!
To make the cake mix:
- Half a cup of sunflower seeds ground up
- 5-6 Tbs. of agave or other raw sweetener
- 1/4 of a cup of water (or more if needed, add slowly, see 'caution' below!)
Mix all of these together, and shape into a square with a spoon into a small pan.
CAUTION- This cake mix is supposed to be fairly thick, so do not add too much extra water!!!

Purple Delight!!!!!
Do any of you want to join my raw food challenge? Send me a comment with you email address and I will send you the details. I just wanted to share with you a new recipe for today, so here it is (sorry, no picture this time around, but I promise there will be one next time!).
Ingredients:
- Half a head of cabbage
- Four to five Tbs of oil ( i used sesame, & it tasted great, but can use flax, ect.)
- Add any spices similar to mrs. dash or a vegetable mix
- Half a purple onion
- sesame seeds! (lots!)
Chop the purple cabbage and purple onion very thinly, toss in bowl, add oil, then the spices & seeds, stir and serve. (Of course, you can always add other veggies, to make it cole slaw-ish, but this is the best way I've ever had it! Even better than my mom's!!!)
I hope that everybody enjoys this recipe!

~Cashew of Banana Recipe~
Its called, "Cashew of Banana", & it's really easy to make!
- half a cup of cashews soaked in water overnight
- two good bananas (or more!)
- half a cup of water
(My mom likes it even more when it's cold from the fridge, but I like it room temperature!)
You could also add cinnamon, or other things like ginger, nutmeg, chunks of banana (but then you should add a few more nuts, so it's a little thicker, or a little less water...), even vanilla!
Enjoy! It's really filling, one bowlful is a great breakfast!
Stay healthy,

A welcome, & a challenge invitation!
A couple months ago my mom decided to go raw (that means that you don't eat anything cooked), and she was just making salads and smoothies, so I didnt want to join her...but one day, she started making another recipe, and then I realized that there were more possibilities with raw than I thought!
The next day I made up a BUNCH of raw recipes, and have been raw since then! I realized how much I enjoyed it, (& I sure have a LOT more energy, even already!) and I thought that you guys would like to make some raw healthy food, too, so thats why I made this blog!
I also had a great idea for this blog! I will be having 30 day challenges where anybody can join (especially kids)! I will also be posting new recipes, and sometimes videos, every day, so that if you do the raw challenges, you can make stuff!
The first 30 day challenge starts september 1st! If you would like to join, please post a comment saying so, with you name (or a made up name), and your email address, and I will send you a little quiz to fill out. Thanks everybody!
Later!
Stay healthy,
